I'm 25 years old and a Stony Brook University graduate. I serious-hobby breed small animals for producing quality pets. All of my breeding programs are small scale and performed with pride & care. When I'm not working with the animals, I write novels or work for my part time job.

"Laurinda was so pleasant and helpful throughout the whole process of getting our new baby boys! We will never use any other breeder for our baby rats in the future! The boys are so tame and loving! Very quick to respond to emails and very knowledgeable! Prices also extremely fair for the amount of work she puts into each and every litter. White Wolf Critters is one of the best!"

Rats: I select for genetic temperament and I socialize. It is difficult to do both without a trained eye, but through my experience I have learned how to select through temperament testing which displays the rat's true temperament despite handling.
Rabbits: Small breed rabbits are brought into my living room with their mother starting at about 4-5 weeks old. During this time they are heavily socialized in a pet home environment - extremely important for small breed rabbit babies. Pet placed rabbits are allowed to leave at eight weeks old.
Hamsters: I socialize hamster babies from two to four week of age. My hamsters are also selected for temperament to ensure animals with positive behavioral traits pass down superior genetics.
Double Critter Nation Cage: Fits up to 15 adult rats. Also available as a single level which is suitable for 6-7 adults. Not suitable for hamsters or large and medium breed rabbits.
Prevue Pet Products Rat & Chinchilla Critter Cage: Fits up to five adult rats. Not suitable for hamsters or rabbits.
You & Me Rat Manor: Smaller option. Fits up to three female rats or two males. Not suitable for hamsters or rabbits.
Prevue Pet 528 Universal Small Animal Home: Perfect for hamsters or a pair of rats.
Forty gallon Breeder Style Tank (shown) or twenty gallon long tank. Perfect for hamsters who love DEEP bedding. Not suitable for rats or rabbits. Use scooper to remove old bedding. Screen cover recommended
Handmade 32 x 19 inch (105 qt) sterlite bin cage: To make this you need something to cut the plastic to make two large windows. I use a hot knife. You also need 1/4 inch metal hardware cloth, wire cutters, and large binder clips to hold the wire to the bin. A bin cage is ideal for one hamster.
